    About 100 Dufay RoadUrban Towndominiums

While 100 Dufay Road isn’t quite as Urban as the Urban Towndominiums name suggests, this townhome development occupies an incredibly convenient location in the Mount Pleasant Village neighbourhood… but “Suburban Towndominions” might be slightly more appropriate.

The development comprises 6 buildings standing 3 storeys tall, with charming brick façades, glass deck rails, and small front fenced yards. The complex occupies almost an entire block and is home to 124 suites.

Because this is a townhome development, amenities are limited to parking; however, condo fees are very low in light of the lack of shared amenities, making life at 100 Dufay Rd akin to life with a detached house.

    The Suites

Urban Towndominiums is a development that was designed to cater to families who are seeking an affordable alternative to detached and semi detached homes; suites are generously sized, ranging from 849 square feet to 1230 square feet. All units feature open concept layouts — available in 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom floor plans.

These Brampton condos have modern kitchens, with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and colourful mosaic backsplashes; wide counters double as breakfast bars and come with stool seating. Units have hardwood, or high end vinyl flooring — suites can have carpeted bedrooms.

Bathrooms are spacious and display subway tile, and feature wide tubs. Bedrooms also provide more living space than most Toronto condos for sale, and are ideal for families with children. Units have private balconies, and many have multi-floor layouts.

    The Neighbourhood

Mount Pleasant West is a quiet residential neighbourhood that provides easy commuter access. It is on the western edge of the Greater Toronto’s Area’s suburban sprawl, and while the neighbourhood is constantly expanding, there’s still lots of breathing room.

With a home at 100 Dufay Road, you can walk to A&W Canada or grab a morning espresso at Starbucks; there’s Nails For You in the area for treating oneself to a pedicure; there’s not much close to home in the way of shopping and dining outside of this small cluster.

Residents can drive to Fletcher's Meadow Plaza on Worthington Ave for big box retailers and fast food chains; the selection is limited, and large shopping excursions will require trips outside of the area. Pubs and nightlife are all but nonexistent, and it’s probably best that prospective buyers avoid this area if nightlife is at all a priority.

Families — particularly those with children — with love the location. Creditview Park is a massive green space that’s only minutes away from the complex; there are sports fields, playgrounds, and a splash pad for hot summer days. Buick Park And Skatepark is only steps away to the north and there’s a multitude of schools in the area.

    Transportation

100 Dufay Road is a rare find for a suburban locale — because residents can walk to a grocery store in just 2 minutes. In fact, Longo's Mount Pleasant is situated beside banks, salons, and daycares.

Some errands will require public transit or a vehicle; fortunately, there are bus routes nearby and Mount Pleasant GO is within walking distance for train or bus service.

Car owners can go east on Bovaird Dr for highway 410, and from there it’s easy to connect to the 401.
