About 3880 Duke of York Boulevard — Ovation Condos
Executives at Tridel must have felt particularly confident when building the 31-storey tower at 3880 Duke of York Boulevard: the building was christened the Ovation Condos upon its completion in 2004.
While we would never recommend anyone give up a beloved pet in exchange for access to Club Ovation, we wouldn’t blame a prospective resident for choosing the amenities at 3880 Duke of York over the chance to someday own a dog. In addition to the building’s 24-hour concierge, guest suites, and underground parking with visitor spots, Club Ovation boasts a games room, a bowling alley, a party room, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a gym.
The Suites
The Ovation Condos contains a grand total of 466 units, which range considerably in size and layout. Condo seekers can expect to find anything from a one bedroom home that spans 350 square feet, to a home that covers 3,300 square feet and contains three bedrooms plus a den. Layouts and suite designs also vary at 3880 Duke of York, with some units boasting bay windows and others containing rounded living room walls.
The Neighbourhood
The Ovation Condos is situated in Mississauga’s Downtown Core, meaning many of the city’s most exciting attractions are just a short walk away. Just across Burmanthorpe, for example, are the Art Gallery of Mississauga, the Central Library, the Mississauga YMCA, and the Living Arts Centre.
Shopaholics living in the building are also in luck, as the Square One Shopping Centre takes 5 minutes to reach by foot. And when it comes time to shop for groceries, residents have their pick between the Whole Foods Market on Rathburn Road, the T&T Supermarket at Mavis and Central Parkway, and the Food Basics on Burmanthorpe.
Transportation
Getting around Mississauga is easy with an address like 3880 Duke of York. Especially useful is the bus stop at Duke of York and Burmanthorpe, where residents can catch the 8, 26, and 91 buses. As for drivers, the 403 can be reached in just a few minutes via Hurontario, while the QEW isn’t too far off either.
