    About 10 Park Lawn RoadWestlake Encore Condos

    The Westlake Encore Condos, as the name suggests, was the last piece of the puzzle for the creators of Westlake Village, which is comprised of Westlake Phase I Condos, Westlake Phase II Condos, and Westlake Phase III Condos. In order to create the condo at 10 Park Lawn Road in Etobicoke, Onni Group teamed up with Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects.

    The Westlake Encore Condos was completed in 2018, resulting in an additional 523 homes in the Mimico neighbourhood. The high-rise building reaches to 46 storeys, with the first 7 comprising a podium. Also found within the building are common elements including a gym, squash court, sauna, swimming pool, games room, rooftop terrace, business centre, party room, and guest suites, plus the lobby is staffed by a 24-hour concierge.

    The Suites

    There’s quite a variety of homes to be had at 10 Park Lawn Road, with units starting at around 450 and reaching to approximately 1,270 square feet. These units consist of studios, three bedroom homes, and everything in between (including some with dens or studies).

    Yet another variation at the Westlake Encore Condos come in the form of colour schemes, which are broken up into two categories: dark and light. Regardless of which type of home one chooses, however, residents living at 10 Park Lawn Road love the natural sunlight that flows in through floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows, and the amazing views of the downtown skyline that are made possible by all that glass. And speaking of views, residents can stare off into the sunset on their balconies or terraces too, as every unit is equipped with some sort of private outdoor space.

    For home chefs, composite stone counters, glass tile backsplash, and GE stainless steel appliances might even be more exciting than views of Toronto’s skyline. Suites in the building are also equipped with Energy Star stacked washers and dryers, marble or porcelain floors in bathrooms, and dual-flush toilets and low-flow faucets.

    The Neighbourhood

    Situated in the lakeside neighbourhood of Mimico, 10 Park Lawn Road Right can be found right at the base of Humber Bay Park. This impressive green space, which juts into Lake Ontario, contains a fishing pier, a playground, and even a beach. Those who really want to make the most of living near the lake can also join the Mimico Cruising Club or the Etobicoke Yacht Club, both of which are located in Humber Bay Park West.

    The Village at Westlake also makes life easier for residents living at 10 Park Lawn Road. The village contains 60,000 square feet of commercial space built just for residents living in the immediate area, some of which is occupied by a Metro, a Shoppers Drug Mart, and a TD Bank.

    Transportation

    With Lake Shore Boulevard West and the Gardiner Expressway both around the corner, residents who drive certainly have no problem getting around Etobicoke and the rest of the GTA. Travelers heading out of town can drive to Pearson International Airport in around 15 minutes, and it can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to reach Union Station, depending on the time of day.

    As for those who don’t like to drive, Old Mill and Royal York Stations are both only as far as a 15-minute ride on the 66 Prince Edward bus. Once at either of these stations, passengers can hop onto trains heading east or west along the Bloor-Danforth subway line.
