About 100 Mornelle CourtCentennial Hill Condos

Centennial Hill Condos is a 4 storey townhome complex in the Morningside neighbourhood, comprising 100 suites, nestled in a green-filled pocket of Scarborough.

Somewhat of a rarity — this townhome complex actually includes an assortment of shared amenities, typically found in condo buildings; there’s an outdoor pool, a gym, a party room, parking, and even a car wash.

These homes are particularly well-suited to families, as not only do they offer layouts that are similar to detached houses, but the location is only minutes from acres of green space at Ellesmere Ravine.

    The Suites

The Toronto townhouses at 100 Mornelle Crt are incredibly spacious, ranging in size from 900 square feet to 2100 square feet. Homes are available from 2 bedroom layouts up to 3 bedroom plus den suites. These suites are quite functional for families thanks to multi floor layouts.

The majority of units have enclosed kitchens; prep space can be tight in some suites, but large cabinets allow for ample storage. Prospective buyers can expect to encounter hardwood flooring or hard surface flooring in units, though, dated finishes are possible.

Bedrooms are generously sized, allowing for enough space for all bedroom furniture, as well as a chair and television. Large windows capture natural light and help save on electricity. All units have in-suite laundry, and oversized private balconies.

    The Neighbourhood

For residents of 100 Mornelle Crt, Ellesmere Reservoir Park is the only green space they’ll need. This expansive green space has shaded benches, sports fields, walking paths, and acres of open green fields. Families and those who are athletically inclined can utilize the top notch facilities at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

From the front doors of 100 Mornelle Crt, it’s only steps to A&W for a bite to eat; Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Osmow's are close by, and there are fast food chains and restaurants sprinkled throughout the neighbourhood. Shopping can be found to the north on Morningside Ave; there are big box retailers and speciality shops, and also car dealerships and beauty stores.

Families have several excellent schools in the neighbourhood at all academic levels; post secondary students can attend the University of Toronto Scarborough or Centennial College - Morningside Campus. There are daycares and community centres, and additional athletic facilities and clubs close by.

Nightlife is hardly extensive, but residents can enjoy a drink at The Fossil & Haggis Pub and Grub or catch the big game at Kelseys Original Roadhouse.

    Transportation

Life at 100 Mornelle Crt does come with some drawbacks; this location isn’t ideal for getting things done on foot, and even simple errands will require a vehicle or public transit.

Unfortunately, public transit isn’t always a great way to navigate the area; there are bus stops nearby on Ellesmere and Morningside Ave, but parts of the neighbourhood have limited service, and a lack of subway stations and train stations will make it difficult to commute to the downtown core via the TTC.

Car owners have an excellent location for beginning their morning commute, as it’s only a 2 minute drive north on Morningside for the nearest on-ramp to the 401.
