    About 23 Glebe Road WAllure

Previously, finding a suitable condo in midtown Toronto was a challenge. Fortunately, the growth of this ever-popular city has forced developers to keep density in mind, even when building north of Bloor Street. What all this means, then, is that the recent past has witnessed a new crop of elegant residences cropping up all over the city, and this is especially true for the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood.

The Allure Condos are a result of an alliance between two forward thinking firms: Greenpark Homes and Page + Steel. The former was in charge of the development itself, while the latter — in the business for nearly a century — took care of the architectural details.

The boutique building at 23 Glebe Road feels exclusive, thanks to its stature of only 10 storeys. However, thanks to its large area, the building has space for almost 200 sizeable homes. And the timeless, red brick façade points to the refined residents who inhabit the Allure Condos.

Last but not least, a description of this condo wouldn’t be complete without a rundown of the amazing amenities available to its residents. The building not only boasts a gym, but also a yoga studio, weights, cardio equipment, and a spa. Residents are also privy to a rooftop terrace with barbecues and a garden, as well as a party room with kitchen and a cinema room. And just so guests never feel left out, visitors can get a comprehensive taste of the condos at 23 Glebe Road West with a stay in one of the guest suites and use of the visitor parking and concierge service.

    The Suites

With mid-town Toronto becoming more popular by the day, there’s no telling who might be interested in Toronto condos for sale at Allure Condos. Conveniently, the condos range considerably in size, providing ample opportunity to fill these homes with a wide variety of future homeowners.

For example, petite yet comfortable homes for first-time buyers or single professionals are available, starting at around 500 square feet for a one bedroom. Homes may also contain one bedroom plus a den, two bedrooms, or up to two bedrooms plus a den. Those looking to relocate an entire family to 23 Glebe West (or to build one here) will be pleased to learn that homes run as large as 2,600 square feet.

Style-conscious buyers will also be enamoured with the Allure Condos. Granite finishes can be found throughout the modern kitchens at 23 Glebe Road West, along with polished hardwood floors, open concept floor plans, and 9 to 10 foot ceiling heights.

    The Neighbourhood

The Allure Condos are well situated for those seeking a mid-town locale that feels truly urban. Simply put, there’s no lack of activities here: bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, and theatres are abundant.

Heading north toward Eglinton and beyond, residents will be met with an array of choices come date night. Mainstream movies can be caught at Silver City in the Yonge-Eglinton Centre, while the Famous Players at Canada Square often screens lesser-known films.

Just to the south, Mount Pleasant Cemetery provides a tranquil spot for walking or cycling. The cemetery is designated a National Historic Site of Canada, thanks to its founding date of 1867. The Allure Condos are also surrounded by a number of ravines and cycling paths: David A. Balfour Park, for example, can be used as a jumping off point for a lengthy bike ride all the way down to Cherry Beach.

When groceries are in order, those living at 23 Glebe Road West have some options. A Metro can be found inside the Yonge-Eglinton Centre, while a lavish Loblaws is situated on Eglinton Avenue East.

    Transportation

While living uptown can pose a problem in terms of transportation, the close proximity of Yonge Street certainly comes in handy. After a 4-minute walk to Davisville Station, residents can reach as far south as Union Station in only 20 minutes — and that’s without a car.

Those who do have access to a vehicle of their own, on the other hand, will love the wide-open roads of mid-town Toronto. Okay, so rush hour may be inescapable anywhere in the city, however general congestion and parking are much less of an issue in this neighbourhood than in downtown Toronto. Mount Pleasant is especially pleasant (pun intended) for a ride south, while a northbound ride on Yonge Street will land drivers at the 401.
