About 4K Spadina Avenue — Neo - CityPlace
If you’re in the market for a new condo, just follow the white rabbit — that’s the only Matrix reference you’ll see here, we promise. Located at 4K Spadina Ave, Neo is an 18 storey condo, with a modern glass façade, accented by red balconies.
The building was completed in 2009 and is part of the CityPlace neighbourhood, and if you heard CityPlace and assumed there would be extensive amenities, you’re not wrong; in addition to a great location, Neo provides its residents with an array of convenient and relaxing extras — gym, pool, party room, meeting room, business centre, security guard, concierge, and parking garage.
Units at 4K Spadina Ave are on the lower end of price per square foot in Toronto, which means there are plenty of affordable options here for first time home buyers trying to find downtown Toronto condos for sale. Given the location and the abundance of amenities, this building is ideal for young professionals, couples, and empty nesters. Although, this property does tend to attract younger crowds, which is something to keep in mind.
The Suites
With over 354 units in a variety for layouts for 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom + den condos, buyers have a lot of choice here. All units are open concept and filled with natural light due to floor to ceiling windows; suite sizes range from 460 square feet to 915.
If you love high-density areas and want to be near the action, you’re going to be happy with a condo here; interested buyers can expect to find hardwood floors, granite countertops, modern kitchens and bathrooms, and private balconies. Neo might not be the greatest investment opportunity, considering the sheer number of similar units in the area, but if you’re set on living in CityPlace — CityPlace condos for rent are also an excellent option.
Those who love to entertain friends and family, can make their guests feel at ease with visitor parking and guest suites. And when you step out your front door, there’s an exciting neighbourhood waiting to greet you.
The Neighbourhood
Unlike most of the neighbourhoods in Toronto, CityPlace was designed from the ground up for high-density living. As a resident of CityPlace, food, fun, and public transit lie around every corner — and some of the city’s best attractions are just next door.
Blue Jays fans couldn’t get much closer — imagine walking to the Rogers Centre on game day in less than 5 minutes, no more $20 parking or crammed streetcars for you. If sports aren’t your thing you can take in the city from the CN Tower, observe deep sea creatures at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, or spend a night enjoying pubs and clubs in the Entertainment District — of which there are many.
For dining out you have options close to home like Macho Tex Mex Radio Bar, Roses New York, Roywoods, Fat Bastard Burrito, Mi•Ne Sushi, and Dairy Queen for a treat. Living in CityPlace allows you quick access to high-end restaurants in King West — there’s Lee for Asian-French fusion, Patria for Spanish, Brassaii for Mediterranean, and charming, less expensive pizza places like Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza, and Pizzeria Libretto.
One of the best aspects of living in this neighbourhood is the availability of nature and recreation; in just a few minutes of walking you can be enjoying lakeside parks, or running on the Martin Goodman Trail. And on days when you just want to spread out a blanket and relax, there’s an abundance of open green grass.
Transportation
4K Spadina Ave has a 96 Walk Score, perfect for residents who prefer to run errands on foot. For groceries, there’s a Sobeys Urban Fresh Spadina just steps away, and Shoppers Drug Mart is on Queens Quay W for prescription pickups.
Public transit riders have streetcars right outside their front door on Spadina, as well, there are buses on Fort York Blvd which connect to Union Station for subway lines and Go Transit.
Car owners can reach the nearest highway by heading south on Spadina for the Gardiner Expressway.
