The Local at Fort York is indeed welcoming: residents come home to sophisticated lobby each day, cared for by an executive concierge. Those living at 50 Bruyeres also have access to an alluring collection of amenities, set inside a shared space called the Local Lounge.

To get to know the community better, residents of the Local at Fort York Condos can head down to the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre at the south end of Bathurst, along Queens Quay West. Transportation
Fort York is increasingly becoming better connected to the city’s transit network. Travelling within the city is quite easy for those living at 50 Bruyeres: both the 307 Bathurst Streetcar and 121 Fort York Bus stop at the intersection of Bathurst and Fort YOrk, about a three-minute walk away.
The 307 Streetcar heads north and south through the west side of the Downtown Core, while the 121 Bus travels east and west along the Lakeshore, both bringing riders to Union Station in about fifteen minutes. Once at Union, residents have many options. They can transfer onto the subway, or use GO Transit, VIA Rail, or the UP Express to head out of the city centre.
Those heading out of town can also reach Billy Bishop Airport in about fifteen-minutes on foot from the Local at Fort York Condos. It sits on its own island, accessible via an underwater walkway whose entrance sits at the end of Eireann Quay.
Last but not least, the building is also well located for residents who drive thanks to the nearby Lakeshore Boulevard West, which runs along the shores of Lake Ontario. And when driving toward the suburbs or beyond, drivers can access the Gardiner Expressway via Spadina Avenue in no time.
