    Constructed in 2006 by Tridel, the building also boasts enough amenities to keep residents with all sorts of interests occupied. At 710 Humberwood Boulevard, residents can break a sweat in the gym or sauna, or on the tennis court. There’s also an indoor swimming pool, a party room, guest suites, visitor parking, and a concierge to keep everything under control.

    The Suites

    Some of the Toronto condos for sale and rent at 710 Humberwood Blvd really are mansions: the largest span an astonishing 5,000 square feet. Those who aren’t willing to shell out the sort of cash that a place so large requires can opt for slightly smaller homes, the coziest of which start at 550 square feet. And with suites containing anywhere from one bedroom to three bedrooms plus a den, there’s plenty of choice throughout the Mansions of Humberwood.

    The Neighbourhood

    Living at 710 Humberwood Blvd means having plenty of chances to enjoy spending time along the Humber River. Green spaces along the river, including Humberwood Park, Valley Sports Field, and the Humber Arboretum, are all just a short walk away from the building. Adventurous types can even explore the area by way of the West Humber River Recreational Trail, which spans a total of 19 kilometres.

    Surprisingly, there’s a significant student population living in the Rexdale, West Humber, & Clairville neighbourhood, thanks to the University of Guelph’s Humber campus. Thankfully for these students, as well as for residents of 710 Humberwood Blvd, there are plenty of diversions in this Etobicoke neighbourhood that are suitable for all ages. For example, while Woodbine Racetrack may not be the best place for entertaining children, those with kids will love living so close to Woodbine Mall. The latter contains an indoor amusement park, meaning that while the rides may not be as tall as those at Canada’s Wonderland, at least they are open year-round.

    Transportation

    The Mansions of Humberwood may be situated a ways away from the downtown core, however it’s surprisingly easy for residents to access the city centre. The 427 is accessible via Rexdale Boulevard, and once on this major highway the Gardiner Expressway is just a short ride away. From the Gardiner, residents can reach central attractions like the Scotiabank Arena and Union Station.

    The proximity of 710 Humberwood Blvd to Pearson International Airport also makes international travel extremely convenient. The airport takes just 10 minutes to reach by car, or around 45 minutes by bus. As for those heading out of town on the train, the Malton and Etobicoke North GO Stations are both just a short drive away. Last but not least, those hoping to reach the subway can catch the 37 Islington bus, which carries passengers to Islington Station on the Bloor-Danforth line in around 45 minutes.

    I've lived here for a few years, and while not perfect, it’s definitely one of the better condos I’ve had. The building maintenance is good, with beautiful views, great amenities, and a great convenient location. Security team is generally helpful, and dealing with management has been mainly positive, though communication could be a bit better. My complaint would be that elevators can be a hassle—breakdowns happen more than not. It’s pretty solid overall to live if you want to be close to nature and the city.
