About 90 Stadium Road — Quay West
There are a lot of great neighbourhoods throughout Toronto, but not all of them offer a chance to live directly on the waterfront. The Quay West condos offer unparalleled views of Lake Ontario, so if you’re looking to live in a lakefront property that’s still close to the heart of the city, these downtown Toronto condos are for you.
Located at 90 Stadium Rd, they’re also part of the Fort York neighbourhood, which is quickly transforming into a highly developed area that’s attracting all sorts of residents. It’s a great fit for those who want the convenience of living in Toronto Proper, while also having their own private home that’s away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. It just keeps getting better with nightlife right around the corner in adjacent neighbourhoods.
You’ll be proud of your home when you live here, with its stylish design and wide open suite layouts. The building is also outfitted with tremendous amenities that not only make life more pleasurable, but much more convenient as well.
Quay West has a stunning design that catches the attention of passers by. It has a 23 storey tower clad in glass, stone, and steel that rises out of an eight storey red brick podium — effectively combining classic and modern Toronto architecture. The building features staggered balconies that give residents plenty of space outdoors where they can cast their gaze toward Lake Ontario.
The amenities in this building are also an attractive feature that you should consider. It has some features that are pretty standard in Toronto condo buildings such as an exercise room, sauna, and concierge service, but there are also some unique features in the building as well. There’s a car wash station that means you’ll never have to scour the city to get your vehicle clean. The best feature, however, might just be the FibreStream Internet that ensure lightning fast online speeds.
The Suites
There’s an array of units at 90 Stadium Road. They range from 360 square foot bachelor units to 2,086 square foot two-bedroom plus den suites. They’ve been outfitted with enviable fixtures and finishes. The hardwood flooring combined with the floor to ceiling windows and 9 foot ceilings create a majestic and luminous impression for guests and residents alike.
When compared to most Toronto condos for sale, units here are reasonably priced, and while you won't find a steal, you won't overspend either.
The Neighbourhood
90 Stadium Road is located in the Fort York neighbourhood, which is an emerging market that has been seeing a lot more development. All you need to do is look at a map to understand why. There are condo developments cropping up throughout regions in Etobicoke and North York, but Fort York provides an option that is much closer to the downtown core while also being somewhat secluded from the rest of the city.
The best part about this neighbourhood is its proximity to the lakefront. There aren’t a lot of opportunities to live on Toronto’s waterfront, making Quay West an opportunity that you don’t want to pass up. Just imagine waking up in the early morning and looking out your bedroom window across unending views of the water, it’s something that you can’t put a price tag on.
90 Stadium is also close to BMO Field, which is the home of the Toronto FC. This is the city’s professional soccer club, and its popularity is steadily climbing where it's even rivaling some of the better known professional sports teams in the city. BMO Field’s also the home of the historic CFL team the Toronto Argonauts.
Fort York is also close to some of the most exciting neighbourhoods in the GTA. King West and Liberty Village are both only minutes away, and they’ve become hot spots for development, as well as some of the best bars and restaurants in the city. If you’re looking for a private home that’s still close to shopping, dining, and employment, then Quay West may be your perfect solution.
Transportation
Public transit has really improved in Fort York in recent years. While the neighbourhood may have been relatively inaccessible in the past, today the surface level transit easily connects to the Toronto subway system, so it’s become incredibly easy to get around the whole city.
Your best option for getting around is the 509 streetcar route. This transit line travels down Queens Quay, and the closest stop is only a 5 minute walk from 90 Stadium Road. The best part about this route is that it connects to Union Station in the east, which opens up the entire city in the process.
Drivers will love travelling around from Quay West too because the Gardiner Expressway is only seconds away. The Gardiner is a major roadway that directly connects to the Don Valley Parkway and the QEW.
